We’re overwhelmingly excited to announce that Rex Everything (Nick Oliveri – ex QOTSA & Kyuss, Dwarves, Mondo Generator) will be one of three special guest DJs at Solid Gold Hell club on Saturday March 27.

Rex Everything – currently in Australia for a brief run of solo shows as well as to record and rehearse with Mondo Generator, which now consists of Oliveri backed by Wollongong rock trio, Hytest – will be playing a 1 hour set from midnight.

You can expect to hear plenty of new and exclusive tracks from Rex, including new solo material and Mondo Generator tracks (rough mixes) and some other surprises that can’t be revealed here. You’ll just have to come along to hear for yourself! He’ll also be blasting out some of his favourite songs.

Joining Rex will be rockin’ guest DJs Fist E. Kuffs (Berlin) and White Trash Cowgirl (Michele Madden). Plus regular DJs Demonika and Cutthroat (Rod Hunt), playing the best in punk, rock ‘n’ roll, soul, rock, post-punk and more!

The theme for this month’s event is ‘Bad women in cinema’. So you’re encouraged to dress appropriately! Or more accurately, inappropriately! Screened on the night will be the flicks such as She-Devils On Wheels, Foxy Brown, Women In Cages and Switchblade Sisters.

Of course there’ll also be the usual special priced Solid Gold Hell Cocktail and Go-Go Dancers!

9pm to 3am and entry is – as always – free!
